Back to Front shares Irish shorts to help Inner City Homeless

Irish filmmaker Ger Duffy will curate a selection of short films at the Stella Theatre this August in aid of Inner City Helping Homeless Dublin. Two screenings of nine Irish shorts will take place on August 24th, with all proceeds going to the ICHH.

The Kitchen Collective will be hosting their short film screening in the Stella Theatre in the Devlin Hotel in Ranelagh, showcasing emerging talent including Duffy, Natasha Waugh, Kate Dolan and more in an event they are naming Back to Front. The event will provide a platform for people that working in the film industry in various departments to showcase their work, with screenings taking place at 2pm and 4pm on Sat Aug 24th.

All ticket costs will be donated to ICHH, who offer a 7 day advocacy service assisting homeless individuals and families and educating them on how to navigate through homelessness. As the number of homeless families and children has increased over 200% since 2015 the demand from families needing assistance in getting out of homelessness has increased. Over 3,000 children are now homeless in Ireland and ICHH have stepped in on numerous occasions and accommodated families that were left with nowhere to go.
