Adventure is out there as Pixar Season comes to the Light House

If you love Pixar, you’ve got a friend in the Light House.

For nearly 25 years Pixar have been among the brightest lights for many a childhood; producing high quality animation both in short films and features with a phenomenal success rate. It’s a studio with plenty of ups and downs, particularly behind the scenes, but on screen they rarely disappoint, with innovative animation and stories that appeal to children and adults alike. It’s a Light House Cinema tradition to screen a programme of films you’d love your kids to see during the summer break, this summer, they’re doubling down with a season of films you know your kids will love to see, as they screen the studio’s entire back catalogue of features for Pixar Season.

All throughout August they’ll be screening every Pixar film to date, from Toy Story up to Coco (expect to hear more from Film In Dublin about their most recent film, Incredibles 2, before the week is out). That’s eighteen films, making for a packed season, with such variety that there’s bound to be one in there for everybody. Even people who like Cars. The season kicks off on Friday 10th of August with A Bug’s Life and continues until The Good Dinosaur on the 26th.
