Oh hi fans of The Room, how’s your sex life? Or perhaps a more relevant question; how would you like to meet Mark himself, Greg Sestero, in Dublin next month?
The star of The Room and N.Y. Times Bestselling co-author of The Disaster Artist alongside Tom Bissell, Greg will be welcomed to Dublin by the Light House Cinema on Saturday May 5th for two screenings of his new film BEST F(R)IENDS, to be followed by a Q&A session hosted by RTÉ’s Derek O’Connor. Screenings of the film will be taking place at the Smithfield cinema at 4pm and 8pm
Described as being based around a series of true-to-life anecdotes sourced from Greg and Tommy’s two decades of shared experiences, years that have festered a…unique relationship, as portrayed last year by brothers Dave and James Franco in the film adaptation of The Disaster Artist.
BEST F(R)IENDS reunites Sestero and Wiseau on the big screen for the first time in 15 years, and will be a two-volume cinematic ‘saga’ that promises to interweave mystery, intrigue, and more than a few dark laughs into the long-awaited reunion of the cult icons behind The Room. Written by Sestero himself, the film is being called a surrealist tale that teaches lessons of friendship and loyalty. The film is directed by Justin MacGregor . Featuring Kristen StephensonPino, Rick Edwards, and Paul Scheer.
