No, not like that.
Despite the very sad closure of Filmbase earlier this month, there are no shortage of opportunities available for those aspiring to enter the industry to improve their craft. Film Network Ireland have a workshop available this Easter for anyone looking to give their script skills a shot in the arm. From 30th March to 2nd April, an internationally recognised dramaturgist will host a workshop in Smithfield’s Generator Hostel.
Film Network Ireland (FNI) have announced a new three day workshop “let’s get naked on film“ with Ip Wischin.
It’s time to get naked on film! Writing workshop.
Formulated by internationally respected film scholar, Dr. Ippolit Wischinsky, who is known in some countries is Ip Wischin, “naked filmmaking“ is an exciting new workshop that strips dramaturgy down to its bones and gets to the heart of what really makes a story beautiful.
Eschewing the run-of-the-mill stuff you get from script writing books (mostly telling you how to follow a formulaic three act paradigm, yawn!), Ip has drawn from his years of experience working with some of the finest script doctors and directors in America to craft a new set of tools that will be invaluable for every serious script writer and filmmaker.
