WFTI: How to Write a Killer Funding Application – Meet the Funders

WFT Ireland presents a masterclass in presenting your funding application and getting your project off the ground, courtesy of the funders themselves. Next Monday the 5th of February, WFTI will be hosting from the Morrison Hotel from 3.30 to 5.30, as industry professionals outline what it takes to write a killer funding application.

It’s arguably the most important stage of your project – without development funding it’s a nonstarter! But securing development funding is also one of the most competitive parts of the process. WFTI have asked movers and shakers from the two primary funding bodies – the IFB and the BAI – to present a masterclass exploring what it takes to write a successful Development & Production funding application for film or television.

They’ll be giving info on:

  • What they look for in content
  • What they look for in the application
  • What they don’t want to see & the most common mistakes
  • Key industry advice and insider knowledge about writing a killer application

Panelists at this event will include Key Project Managers from the Irish Film Board and the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland. It’s a great opportunity to hear their thoughts and pick their brains.

Bookings are available now, however places are limited and are given on a first come first served basis. Tickets cost €10 for the general public.

As always, this event is free to WFTI members so those interested should join now to avoid being charged on the door on the day of the event.
