Fans of Robert Sheehan may be wondering what the Love/Hate and Misfits star has been getting up to in recent times. If that’s the case, you need to get yourself to the Vue Cinema in Liffey Valley tonight, as Sheehan’s latest film Jet Trash will be screened exclusively there. A hedonistic travel thriller, Jet Trash is a stylish looking story of the perfect crime gone wrong, and its showing exclusively in Vue Cinemas in the UK and Dublin.
Directed by Charles-Henri Belleville, who previously made the microbudget film The Inheritence featuring Tom Hardy in 2007, Jet Trash is story of backpackers getting involved in the drug trade, something that should be familiar to Irish viewers. Based on the novel Go by Simon Lewis, the film is a small co-production between the UK and India, set partially in London and Goa. Homegrown interest from Sheehan aside, the film also features the talents of rising star Sofia Boutella, the breakout star of this year’s Star Trek Beyond and recent film Kingsman: The Secret Service. Check out the trailer for Jet Trash yourself. It certainly looks intense:
If you’re feeling drained after hours of Christmas shopping in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre and need something to pump you up, grab a ticket for Jet Trash tonight at 9.30 pm, while you still can.
