A Halloween cult classic is finding its way back to Irish cinemas this month. Beetlejuice, newly remastered, will be playing in cinemas throughout the country for its 30th anniversary from October 26th, including screenings in some of Dublin’s top cinemas.

Dublin’s top purrveyors (that’s the last one, promise) of ‘Midnight Movies’ – cinema best seen after dark with a few tall glasses of water – Hollywood Babylon have announced their selection for their Christmas Party showing. For anyone who’d like to see something other than Elf this Christmas, or something other than Elf five times this Christmas, they will be screening Batman Returns at the Light House Cinema.

Whose films were quite good,

With big hair and big eyes

And a love for Ed Wood.

 

But some time ago

Ol’ Tim lost his step

When he followed the money

And followed Johnny Depp.

 

Though his latest film isn’t

A total disaster

It still is a pity

It couldn’t end faster.
