The fourth edition of the  iffy Short Film Festival will take place on Wed 20th November in The Pearse Centre Theatre, Dublin 2 and is now open for submissions for short films of all genres and types from Ireland and abroad.

Last November saw the first edition of the iffy Short Film Festival, a bite-sized selection of shorts for Liffey-side lovers of film. The festival will be making its return early next month, with another batch of movie bouches. A festival that embraces and celebrates the potential and power of the short film on its own merits, iffy will be returning for its 3rd edition in the coming weeks, with 9 films to be shown in total.

This Friday, the Dublin Arabic Film Festival begins once again the Irish Film Institute. a celebration of the best of contemporary Arabic cinema, providing a window into Arabic people, culture and politics. The festival, organised by president and director Jim Sheridan and Zahara Moufid respectively, will show 5 films from October 6th to 8th showcasing filmmaking from the Arabic region.
