Keanurama at the Light House Cinema got us like ‘Woah’

Admirable, Amiable, Theodorable. Who doesn’t love Keanu Reeves? Certainly the Light House Cinema do, which is why they’ve announced their latest season, Keanurama, an ode to Ted Logan himself that will demonstrate through over a dozen of his most iconic roles exactly why the man is The One to so many film fans. Including a John Wick double-bill and coinciding with the release of that series’ latest chapter Parabellum, this series of fun films will surely have us all speeding to Smithfield this summer.

As the good folks at the Light House say themselves, Keanu has been gracing our screens in some of Hollywood’s most iconic output for four decades now, so their selection of favourites are certain to cater to every kind of Keanu fan whether you want to see him in rom-com mode, finding his own Private Idaho or struggling to pronounce the word Budapest in Bram Stroker’s Dracula. Celebrating Reeves’ appearance three brand new films this summer, along with the upcoming re-release of The Matrix for its 20th anniversary they’ll be kicking off Keanurama from the 10th May and carrying on being excellent to us all the way up to the 11th July. They’ll be showing Speed in 35mm, hosting a Point Break Party just in time for the 4th of July and even screening deeper Keanu cuts like Parenthood and A Scanner Darkly. What else can we say, except “woah”? No need for us to play Devil’s Advocate here, we’re just as excited as you to check out some of the best films from one of Hollywood’s most versatile and – by all accounts, chill – leading men.
